Welcome to Movotag School! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Movotag School platform, operated by Movotag Limited ("Movotag," "we," "us," or "our"), registered in Nigeria (RC8064793).

By accessing or using our Services—whether as a school administrator, a teacher, or a parent—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Description of Services

Movotag Limited provides an IT and digital infrastructure solution specializing in NFC-enabled platforms. Movotag School is an attendance tracking and instant notification platform designed for educational institutions. The service includes the provision of NFC keychains, Android-based classroom reader software, a live administrative dashboard, and automated SMS/WhatsApp notifications to parents.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

• For Schools: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your administrative account credentials. You must ensure that student data (names, parent contacts) uploaded to the platform is accurate and that you have obtained the necessary consent from parents/guardians to share this data with Movotag Limited for the purpose of the Services.
• For Parents/Guardians: Your contact information is provided to us by your child's school. It is your responsibility to ensure the school has your most up-to-date phone number to ensure uninterrupted delivery of SMS/WhatsApp notifications.

3. Hardware and Usage

Movotag provides NFC keychains for students and may provide reader phones to classrooms.

• Schools are responsible for the safe-keeping and physical security of the reader phones within their premises.
• Lost or damaged NFC keychains can be replaced subject to a nominal replacement fee as outlined in your school's specific service agreement.

4. Fees and Payments

Subscription fees for the Movotag School service (e.g., Standard or Premium plans) are billed on a per-child, per-term basis unless otherwise negotiated in a custom enterprise contract. Payments must be made in accordance with the invoices generated by Movotag Limited. Failure to remit payment may result in the suspension of SMS/WhatsApp notifications and dashboard access.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is critically important to us. Our data collection and use policies are explicitly detailed in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the data practices described therein.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Movotag Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Services. While we strive for 100% uptime, we are not liable for delayed notifications caused by downstream cellular network outages or third-party WhatsApp platform downtime.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.
